Welcome New Students of The Academy of Aetheric Studies

It was that time of year again, the beginning of the academic year and the arrival of new students. Today would be the grand entrance ceremony for new students and the day school clubs and activities would try and showcase their best!
Of course, an exciting day for students was also an exciting day for teachers, keeping track of trouble makers and helping lost students, there wasn't a moment of peace.
Welcome to the world of magic!

"Are these chambers things that you can just make?"
That sounds quite handy, especially for potions! Though perhaps they aren't so common for a good reason. Whatever reason that is, however, hers is a better one. Still, this is all surely quite advanced stuff.

"But I'm not someone who makes tools or potions."

Thea hums, considering, before crossing her arms.
"I'll have to go check. But... it's not something I need to do right now."
She feels like she needs it, at least to satisfy her curiosity, but her most pressing dilemma has been resolved. So she guesses she ought to be responsible, or the whole point of trying to avoid punishment (and being a good teacher to her students, of course) will be for naught.
"We should probably head back before everyone notices we're gone. Orientation is still on after lunch,"

"I suppose they'll want to organize everyone into groups under their teachers before sending them off to the dorms," he had been given a homeroom class once... He felt he had put his all into it, and the headmaster decided he was a bad role model.
So mean.
"Sounds like a chance to go home early~"

"That's what you're thinking about when the school year just started? How do even you manage to get through the year?"
Really, despite being a teacher now, it's been for such a brief time that she still feels like she's on the other side of the teacher's desk. She'd accidentally probably sit down in a seat that reminds her of her own.

“Oh, come on. Aren’t we supposed to teach the next generation, so that they can reach even greater heights than we can?”
It’s something that Thea believes in, but…
“Though I think I’d be pretty scared of any student that reaches a greater height than you.”
What else can be managed with time magic? Maybe plenty of things without anyone else ever noticing. The thought makes Thea shiver.

"But, that is true, the goal is to see how many of them last the true tests of time. Who will truly embrace the life of a mage," he was talking of the few individuals who, through dedicated nonstop research, gained such things as near immortality, living hundreds of years and inventing new types of magic, or uncovering lost. But for every individual remembered for that, there were many who never got anywhere, or who died from their own experiments.

Thea - the potions teacher, with a bit less capability as a mage - adds with a slightly nervous laugh. Still, she isn't troubled by such a comment in the least. Seeing the sorts of work a mage needs to go through, as well as what could go wrong, makes her feel a little more content with not being as ambitious as all that.
"Now let's hurry back! Unless your magic can also help us get there in the blink of an eye."

As he spoke he summoned his staff to his hand; it was long and ornate with a giant jewel at the end. As it materialized, a magic circle started forming underneath them, a flow of magic growing from that point as the circle widened to encompass both of them. The moment it was just the right size he tapped the bottom of his staff to the floor, activating the spell and in an instant, they were both teleported in a woosh of magic, wind, and light. One moment they were in Thea's room, the next, the teachers' lounge with a sudden snap, an impressive entrance and somewhat disruptive as the air rushed out as their sudden occupation forced space. Most people doing this for the first time would get a severe form of motion sickness.
"How many times do we have to tell you not to teleport inside the school!" came an annoyed, grumpy male voice from the far end of the lounge.
"Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should..." came a more meeker female voice.
"I wish he would be lethargic in our spaces like he is with his students in his classroom...." came another resigned voice.
